Better World Books

Better World Books is an innovative social business that sells books online, sharing revenue with libraries and literacy charities. Books we can’t sell are donated to a charity that can use them or recycled.

We launched in the UK in 2008 and work in close partnership with two prominent UK literacy charities READ International and the National Literacy Trust.

In the USA, where we started out in 2003, we’ve already raised over $7 million for literacy organisations and kept over 25 million books out of landfill.
