Donate Books

If you’re thinking of donating books to us to support one of our charity partners, please read our Guidelines first. We know a lot about selling books online – and, unfortunately, we’ve learned that some things just don’t sell. Rather than needlessly transport this material around the country, we try to encourage people to reuse or recycle it in their local area.

How to Donate Books:
At the moment, the only permanent local drop off point we have is our warehouse in Dunfermline, Fife, located at:

Better World Books UK
Castle Industrial Centre
Queensferry Road
Dunfermline
KY11 8PU

Contact us for directions at info@betterworldbooks.co.uk. We also work with student groups at universities across the country who arrange their own collection points. Get in touch with us to find out if there’s one near you.

You may also post books to us that meet the guidelines below. Please send them to the address above and mark the package ‘Donation’.
