Managing Director
Maura Varian
Maura hails from New York and joined BWB in 2006 as Logistics and Acquisitions Support Manager, supervising the movement of huge volumes of books from across the country to the central warehouse in Indiana, USA. She moved to Scotland in October 2009 to run the UK operation and has overseen the company’s growth in all areas from physical size to revenue. Maura is learning to play Tennis and enjoys living in the birthplace of Andrew Carnegie.
Aquisitions Manager
Yanna Constantinou
Yanna is lucky enough to claim citizenship on both sides of the Atlantic. Whilst she is Chicago born and bred, her Cypriot heritage is unmistakable. She joined BWB back in 2005 and worked with the student drives in the US. She came over in January 2009 to manage acquisitions in the UK. She is now responsible for over 500 accounts and has many more plans for expansion up her sleeve. Yanna enjoys cooking, travel and now considers herself a whisky connoisseur.

Gary Maxwell
Gary joined the BWB team in June 2010. He has brought 30 years of invaluable experience in warehouse management and shipping to the team here. Gary enjoys strength training, which is a real asset when it comes to dealing with heavy boxes of books. He also likes to travel and has recently enjoyed a holiday to Canada.
Quality Assurance Manager
Fiona Marshall
Fiona is one of the longest serving and most invaluable members of our team having been here since we opened in October 2008. As such she has found herself working in almost every area of the business at some point. She is currently the manager of the customer care team as well as taking on inventory management, purchasing, health and safety, and website development. She enjoys outdoors activities like camping as well as windsurfing, walking and badminton.
